Harajuku, Where Japanese Culture Pops
The journey began with our hunt for gifts that scream "Japan!" What other places more appropriate to seek such kinds of gift other than Harajuku! Off to Takeshita Street and 100 Yen Shop we go.
Adopting that Japanese Style
We made our way from Harajuku to Shibuya, stopping by some unique shops along the way. We stumbled upon one shop and we bought the famous Japanese mask there!
The Purrfect Cafe
We ate Ramen for lunch in Shibuya and stumbled upon a nearby cat cafe. There are a dozens of cat that came and played with us, It was great!
Up Close with "Bonsais"
To close things of, we went to Naka-Meguro and visited a Bonsai Shop. Jan wishes to see a Bonsai up close, so it is only appropriate for us to grant her wish.
Meet up at Harajuku St.
Have lunch at Shibuya
Buy stamps at post office
Looking at Bonsais in Naka-Meguro
See you again
If I have to choose the best moment during this trip, it would've been hearing Jan's kind words. He said that his around- the-world trip made him realized that the best part about travelling is the people--I personally agree with that idea, so hearing that coming out of his lips made me really happy.
